Cabin Cruiser 1950's
This is a great model that was motorized. The scratch
built hull is plank on frame and sports chrome cut water, propeller shaft and
rudder. It was built in New England, and shows the new style of cabin cruiser
that was being used for pleasure, including day trips and overnight cruises.
The decks are mahogany, with chrome hardware, search light, electrified port and
starboard lights, and steering wheel. The ports on the boat are Plexiglas. The
hatch, on chrome tracks, moves forward to reveal the galley and V births in the
cabin. This is a very special model boat that was built to cruise on ponds.
The back canopy and floor boards are missing as is the engine, however the model
is in good condition overall.
