Rum Runner 1930
Thanks to the Volstead Act if you wanted to have an alcoholic beverage during
the period from 1920-1933 you probably needed to give thanks to a Rum Runner.
During Prohibition coastal towns became refuge for high powered, stealthy water
craft attempting to dodge the US Coast Guard as they transported rum and other
liquor up from the Caribbean. This folksy model depicts the romance of the
chase of a 1930 Rum Runner, crafted from old wood including cigar boxes this old
gal would be right at home with your Captain Morgan and Bacardi! At the very
least you could hide a mini bottle or some tobacco in her compartment.
