Schooner Pond Boat circa 1930
First children played with toy boats on ponds then men took over. By 1860 hobby and play became sport as pond yachts became more sophisticated.  By 1930 model yachting in public parks was at its zenith featuring charming wooden boats such as our antique Schooner Pond Boat.  She is all original with some minor rigging and sail restoration from our repair craftsman.  Her original black and red hull paint and stained deck have achieved a nice natural aged patina.  Though built to be seaworthy, she deserves a place of honor in your collection.
